World Cup Football Preparations-How You Can Join In

Unless you have been hiding in a dungeon somewhere you will know that the World Cup is on this summertime.  World cup febrility has gripped lots of people in different ways; some are organising getting  football shirt printing done, the British are sending World Cup condoms to South Africa and Littlewoods Bingo are spreading the World Cup Fever with a promotion that whisks the winner and a ally to a World Cup destination of their choice.

The kick off of the football FIFA World Cup promises to be quite an event as there is a wonderful line up of artists to launch the tournament.   It includes Shakira, Alicia Keys, Amadou & Mariam, Angélique Kidjo, Black Eyed Peas, BLK JKS, John Legend, Juanes, The Parlotones, Tinariwen, Vieux Farka Touré and Vusi Mahlasela will take to the stage at Orlando Stadium in Soweto/Johannesburg on the eve of the opening match of the first FIFA World Cup™ on African soil. There may be further talent to be announced also.

FIFA has selected Kevin Wall and his company Control Room, who is an Emmy accolade triumphant producer to organise the concert.  Control Room organised Live Earth in 2007 featuring 150 artists performing on seven continents over a period of 24 hours.  The net proceeds of the concert will be donated to 20 centres for 2010 which is the official campaign of the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa.  The aim of this is to achieve positive social change through football through 20 centers which will be constructed in various parts of Africa, which will in turn offer healthcare, education and football training to the people of these places.

Bosses have been advised to prepare themselves for the football fever as it grips the nation this summer and may result in some headaches for bosses.  Firms need to be realistic and start preparing for increased absence levels as employees book holidays and others take sick days to watch the significant matches.  person who is genuinely not well is David Beckham; it is very sad about David Beckham’s Achilles injury which wrecks his World Cup dream of playing in his fourth football World Cup.  

For the rest of us the preparations gather momentum, whether it is that you are lucky enough to be travelling to the fabulous destination of South Africa or you have a good gang organised to enjoy the football with at home or in the local pub.  The really dedicated fans have already started getting plenty of football shirt and kit printing so that they can wear their team colours as they enjoy the World Cup Football.  Lots of creative designs for different local teams and groups of friends who want to be seen wearing the right colours but want to stand out in their own way also.  

It certainly promises to make for a great summer with lots of socialising.  I already have football shirt printing occurrence for my team so that we are ready to look great in our kits when supporting for the World Cup 2010-have you caught the fever if not have fun and join in.
