Do You Need To Increase Your Vertical Jump? Here Are Some Jump Higher Exercises
Do you need some jump higher exercises? These are some basic exercises that can really help with your vertical leap and make you jump higher. The thing I like most about these exercises that I have listed is that you can pretty much do them at any point during the day. There are obviously some advanced jump higher exercises that you can do but those generally require you to set out a block of time for you to do them.
Always make sure that you start off any exercise by warming up. Do not under estimate the power of warming up before a workout. Most people agree that stretching is the best way to start a warmup exercise. Stretching is vitally important before you continue on with the warmups so that it gets your muscles ready for the workout and plus it can help make your muscles feel better if they are sore from working out the day before. A lot of people suggest doing some light jogging as a nice warmup exercise. Depending on the weather outside I will sometimes jog in place inside my house, or I will go for a jog around my block. It’s entirely up to you. Another idea is to do some light jump roping. Try not to do too much jump roping because it can also be used as a workout all by itself.
Sometimes people are surprised at this exercise. Think about doing some toe raises. These jump higher exercises are great for building your calf muscles. Building your calf muscles is vital to increasing your vertical jump. Stand with your feet flat on the floor and raise your heels up as if you were going to stand on your toes, but keep on the balls of your feet. Once you go as high as you can, slowly lower them back down to the floor. Repeat this process as much as you feel comfortable. Keep a close watch that you don’t spring back up from bouncing when you are touching your heels back to the ground, or it will not give your calves the workout that you desire.
Jump rope is not only a good warm up exercise, but it’s also great for a full jump higher exercise. It is really good for increasing your vertical leap. Another idea is to jump rope while you are watching TV. Some will do it the entire time that commercials are on, and some in spurts while they are watching the actual show. Doing small bursts like this is really easy to do and will fit into any schedule, all while helping build the essential muscles for jumping.
There is an amazing jump higher program that will teach you some more advanced jump higher workouts so that you can rapidly increase your vertical jump. If you need to increase your vertical there is no faster way than this program. The program is called The Jump Manual and it is guaranteed to increase your vertical.
