Harry Ellis – Leicester Tigers and England – Team issue training shirt.This sort-after item is the actual England training shirt issued to Harry for the 2005 season.It displays the embroidered England badges and the player’s initials ‘HE’ at the bottom that you only get on team issue clothing. Lewis Moody has established himself as one of the most athletic and versatile forwards in the world and is a regular in the England team.This unique and rare item is the actual dry-fit shirt Lewis wore for England against Australia on 12 November 2005. The game saw England beat Australia for the first time since the World Cup final and return to their best form. It is also the game where the Aussie scrum was completely overrun prompting the referee to call for uncontested scrums.The shirt is embroidered with the players name and the date/opponents (as shown). It also displays the traditional red rose on the breast number 7 on the back the usual sponsor on the front and Nike on the collar.Adding to the rarity and value of the shirt is the fact that it carries the extra coating over the front of the shirt that only appears on player shirts. It is also the new style England shirt with extra red piping and the upper area of the shirt heavily padded. Viv’s West Indies test performances saw him score 8 540 runs at an average of 50.23 from 121 test matches.This particularly rare photograph signed by Viv Richards captures him celebrating the fastest test century in Test Match history in April 1986 against England off just 56 balls on his beloved home ground The Recreation Ground in St. John’s Antigua.
