Bengals on the Board 5 Times in 2010 NFL Preseason Odds
There are only two teams in the NFL that will be playing five times in 2010 NFL preseason probabilities.
One of those teams is the Cincinnati Bengals as they play the Hall of Fame Game on August 8th vs the Cowboys. The Bengals and Dallas Cowboys will be on the board 5 times in 2010 NFL preseason betting since the NFL does not consider the Hall of Fame Game part of Week 1.
2010 NFL preseason odds at the sportsbook will have the Cincinnati Bengals as underdogs in their opener versus Dallas. The Cowboys are deemed the stronger squad and they get a lot of interest from the public. That will undoubtedly be the case with this match that can be viewed on August 8th on NBC television. Neither the Bengals nor the Cowboys will be putting lots of emphasis on this game since it is the 1st of the preseason so the worth might be with the Bengals.
It is the 1st showing in the league’s traditional preseason kickoff game for the Cincinnati Bengals ever since they used it to start their run to the 1988 AFC championship. The match at Fawcett Stadium lines up division winners for the 1st time in 28 years. The Cincinnati Bengals claimed the AFC North last year at 10-6 and Dallas earned the NFC East at 11-5 in what will be the inaugural preseason game between the clubs.
The Cincinnati Bengals will be a little ahead of their adversary in Week 2 2010 NFL preseason betting since they are playing 5 preseason matches. The Bengals host the Denver Broncos on August 15th. Cincinnati will likely be preferred in that game since they’re at home. Squads that play the previous week in the Hall of Fame Game have typically practiced longer and are better prepared to play a game so the Cincinnati Bengals may get some attention against the Broncos from bettors in Week 1.
Both teams are going to play one more preaseason match than everyone else with five and it means they can open their training camps before the other 30 teams.
Cincinnati stays home for Week 2 of the preseason that will be their 3rd match. The Cincinnati Bengals host the Philadelphia Eagles and they should be favored again. This game can be seen on Fox television so it will get extra attention from gamblers. The Eagles have a reputation as a good squad so the Bengals should be only a field goal favorite in this match. Week 3 of the preseason is when the starters play the most so the Bengals will look to perform well on August 28th when they are at Buffalo. It will be Cincinnati’s 4th preseason game so it will likely be interesting to see how far the starters go in that contest.
The Bengals are at the Indianapolis Colts on September 2nd, finishing up the preseason. It might just be a throwaway game for both squads since neither squad should be looking to play starters very long.
